Located in Hoodsport, WA, Lake Cushman is a picturesque place to fish, boat, ski, camp, or just to visit for the day. Located approximately 30 miles north of Olympia, it is an easy drive from most Western Washington locales. Good location for fishing, boating, camping and hiking up the Staircase for many miles if you desire.

We typically like to go to Lake Cushman Resort a few times per year. There are RV, tent sites and cabins. Reservations are recommended if you want a lakefront site.

Our campsite, right on the lake:

Cushman Resort has a nice little store where you can get cold beer, snacks, fishing gear, even movie rentals!

DW made some home made scones!

Great sunny days both days!

If you are ever in the area, Lake Cushman Resort is highly recommended.

Yes, that is the Atom processor. Nice little computer. We use it for our GPS too.

Funny you say that, we have always wanted to live there. Thought about getting a retirement place there...

Thanks! We like the rig. Very comfortable.

That's a sharp looking rig you have.
Been years since I've been to Lake Cushman.
It is a nice place. Did you have wireless access?
Thanks for the pictures and report information.

No wireless there as far as I know. We had the Verizon aircard. Had good reception.
