Took a run out to Black River in Arizona. Still had snow on the ground in the shade with temps in the high 70's.

This was a nice place in the river 100 yards upstream.

We were the only people at the campsite.

I was not sure if a anti sway bar would be my best option for my Chevy HD 4WD. Air Lift came out with Air Cell for HD use. They make them for front and rear so I got both sets. I plan to add a front bumper and winch in the future.

This is the front.

The rear set.

I added a flat bed to the truck.

Fold flat 6,600lb tie down points in back.

Front has 2,200 eye bolt tie down points and Torklift Fastgun 45's on each corner.

Do not ever stand in front of this bumper to see if your rear is to big.

I do plan to close off the sides and add boxes under the flat bed to give it a more finished look.

Checked out Big Lake Arizona on the way home.

This is a very nice area to see and I plan to visit again.

Pretty country!!

How much did your flatbed raise your bed height? I've been looking at flatbeds and the guy says it will only raise 4". Does that sound about right? I'm also thinking I may have to order one with a short enough headache rack to fit under the camper.

Anyway, your outfit is looking GOOD!!! [emoticon]

Nice mods!! How much were the Air-Lift Air Cells? They look like Aeon rubber springs, but on steroids [emoticon]

Nice flat-bed, too!!

Into TR it goes...

Was that buffalo crossing? If not which campground is that if you don't mind? I want to do a Black River trip with the family and if it is still cool now is the time because we are high 90's in town already. Thanks for any info.

About 4" is added to the height from a stock bed on mine. I ordered the bed from CM Truckbeds. They custom made the bed at no charge. The bed width was changed to 80" to match the cab width, my TC has only 83" between the jacks. Headache rack matches cab height.

The Air Cells were $189 a set from 4Wheel Parts. At the time there was a promotion for $25 off a set.
