Great report! I wish I had the intestinal fortitude to attempt some of that back road travel with my outfit but with NO mechanical ability and a bad case of "chickenitis" I guess I'll have to live those trips vicariously through others. Keep on truckin'.

Nice pictures and good trip. I like to see those out of the way places. Looks like you have a good truck with a lighter camper and not likely to breakdown. Probably the most dangerous thing that could happen to you out there in the middle of nowhere is to be run over by Whazoo.

I haven't bothered to report my last two trips. I've been stuck in a camping, golfing, fishing loop for the last couple weekends. I've given the same report before and see no need to repeat the report unless something interesting happens.

You have the right outfit for that terrain. I wouldn't mind trying it though!!!!

Well done, nice report.

Fascinating scenery and an adventurous drive in doing so.

Again, very nicely done!

Your description of the geology is fantastic! I just learned something new about that area from your travels. I don't know if I'd try those "roads" with a humvee, little less a truck.
Thanks for the pictures and the narratives.
