Located approximately 30 miles north of Ocean Shores and 150 miles from Seattle, Pacific Beach State Park is a wonderful place to camp. A large portion of the camping spots are located, essentially, right on the beach. Some have power, some do not. We dry camped for 2 days and it worked out very well. We ran the genny for 2 hours the second day. There are many things to do there including kite flying, hiking, biking, beach combing, fishing, etc. If you need water, they have potable water available if you need to fill your tanks.

Pacific Beach State Park is a very nice park and one we highly recommend. It was very enjoyable and quiet.

Looks like a great spot, I may try to get there this summer. I'm sure I would have to reserve for a weekend spot,

Stayed there 22-25 May this year. Had a real good time, until I woke up our last morning there to find 2 of our camp chairs missing. Looked around the park and did not see them. Keep in mind it is less then a 5 minute walk to get into town. I'll go back but I'll be much more careful next time.

Thats a great place for camping close to the beach. The Quinalt indian casino near Ocean Shores has recently expanded there camping area. Its actually nice and located on the beach. It is free and has asphalt parking area and gravel. No hookups but again it is free and on the beach. We don't gamble but do enjoy the Sunday brunch and it is a good spot to dig razor clams when open

Absolutely terrible place to camp, nothing but sand and relaxation, tell everyone you know not to go there[emoticon]

We plan to go back as soon as possible and don't want it to be full.

If you see a 10" yellow plastic shovel, my son wants it back.

Are some of the spots right on the beach at Grayland?

Yeah, the casino is supposed to be good, never been there, but heard good things about it. How many spots are there?
