Went to the Gila with some friends to share with them the places we enjoy. This will be the first time for their son (7), and grandson (5).

We camped at Snow Lake for the first two nights.

The next morning I was up before the sun and hiked up to the dam.

On the way back my friend was showing his son some fishing.

That evening at the campfire we decided to go to another camp near the area. I was up at first light to start the coffee and another camper came by to chat. As we were enjoying the cool morning air I was iistening to what sounded like elk. Welllllll....

A few more.

After enjoying that grand view we packed up and moved camp.

Ben Lilly campground is a nice area.

My friend did catch one. Not easy in the low water conditions in the creek. He did catch a lot of smiles from the boys.

We had a great trip. I did see another TC.

Two days later my friend told me the boys never stopped talking about camping.

Great job - get the kids out there and get 'em hooked early. I know I can thank my dad for a lifelong love of the outdoors. Looks like a nice area.

Thanks for sharing.

What a great outing for your grand-kids, outdoors, a lake to fish and many great memories for them.

Thanks for sharing. We are planning a trip with our grandson in the next couple of weeks. He is ready to go to the beach.

A great way to make memories.
Thanks again
