Silver - if you want me to pick you up any VA tourist information while we are here, I'll be glad to. Just let me know.

Didn't know you were such a poet and didn't realize there was a Robert Frost trail. Will have to Google that.

Mrs. Silver, personally I love poetry, you go girl! And as I said the picture taking is right on, ditto what BTG said. We'd love to make it back east sometime and you both are stoking the fire for a west meets east trip in our future. Thanks again for your post. BTW, is that a late bloomer in the last picture behind the other flowers? Sorry Silver, couldn't resist! Guess I'll petal on out of here...
Have a great week

Two:

I'm not certain if the R Frost trail will show up in your GPS database? If it doesn't, send me a PM and I'll send you a marked-up map with GPS coords for waypoint. If you need to get up to "the cabin", let us know in advance, we'll get you the latest access info. Currently, there are faculty staying at the 1st house you'll encounter, so beter to wait till break time.

Virginia:

Much appreciated! We both have visited Virginia continually over the past 30 years, and I venture that we've not seen but 2% of the state at this point [emoticon]

Whazoo: ....East meets West? Great Idea! Come on out any time [emoticon]

Cheers,
Silver-

Silver D&S - great report. I'm going to have to check out that RF Trail, also. Looks so pretty there.
I'm headed for Barre, VT on the 13th and staying through the 17th. Meeting up with friends from FL. Going to Ben & Jerry's, of course...

Thanks for posting.

We visited Rock of Ages a few years ago. We thought it was interesting, but I think they were just trying to sell me a headstone.
