Update on Aussie RV definitions and slang.
Some American slang and words are used but in many cases not with the same meaning as the US: RV has a different connotation to how you use it; A Pickup Truck is not a Truck in Australia; we have 4WD's for going off road and a SUV for driving in the cities;TC's are either Slide ons or Glide ons not Truck campers; A Travel Trailer is a Caravan. But you can have a Touring Dirt Road one or an Off Road one neither variety exists in the US; we drive on a track not a trail; a Lot of 4WD's have a Snorkel for crossing rivers; A 5ver is a 5th wheel caravan; Slide outs are either that or pop outs.; if it is raining you can wait till it "fines up" before you go adventuring;A F250/F350 is either a "car" "big Ute", Ute or in rare cases a truck(Americanism). A F150, Silverado 1500 etc would be "cars' or "Utes"

Hey, Whazoo:

...I'm back in the saddle....touch and go for a few days there I'll tell ya with this brutal food poisoning. Many thanks for the kind words of encouragement by PM, relayed to me by Dunes!

This is a new Whazoo standard; perfectly sized and nicely bordered pix, great tongue 'n cheek narrative, and exceptional attention to detail...

Into TR it gooooes!

Cheers,
Silver-

Thats great news Silver. Hope you don't have lingering effects for long. I hear that drinking from healing head waters will help. Cheers to you and Silverdunes as well...

Whazoo - met up with the Farctics at their bilabong along the ocean in Maine last week. After listening to the tales of the four of you trekking into the wilderness, OZ sounds tame. Keep your head above the water and keep on trekking. Always enjoy your jaunts.
