…but I thought there might be interest in our latest trip. 8,182 miles, July 17 to August 21.

Highlights:
- Cassiar Highway
- Hyder, Alaska,
- Nine days/160 miles on the Spatsizi/Stikine rivers. If you’ve driven the Cassiar, you drove over the Stikine at our takeout point just south of Dease Lake,
- Alaska highway Watson Lake to Dawson Creek,
- Icefields highway through Jasper and Banff.

Lessons learned:
- Southern BC can be warm (106 degrees F in Lytton on July 28),
- Check at BC’s Visitor Information Centres for fires and road closures,
- Verizon wireless MiFi (used in US only) is more reliable than RV park Wifi claims.
- Never be caught with the bear between you and the bear spray,
- A well maintained Lance camper (not including the Norcold refrigerator) is just about bullet proof. Ditto for the 7.3L Powerstroke diesel,
- Avoid Muncho Lake for diesel fuel if you can. Fill up there cost $187 out of our total $1,631.

There are few superlatives to describe the Spatsizi wilderness.

OK, you show us a map of your trip going across the US of A and then you head North and cross into enemy territory (Canada) (Just teasing friends to the North, half my family lives there) and return to the Northeast from whence you came, and all you post is a couple pictures? That's just not right.

Loved the Jasper area for skiing. Crossed the plains of Saskatchewan and Manitobe during the rains one year. It was a stunning lush sea of green with torrents of rain and rainbows.

More pictures please.
