Nice pictures. Were you able to take the dogs hiking in any of those spots? If so I'd appreciate the details. I've found most national parks are not dog friendly.

Thanks for sharing, brings back memories. When I took a ranger tour, we stopped at the overlook below Angels Landing. During the talk, he said they have to go up and rescue a couple people a year that freeze on at the top, usually near the chains.

I didn't make the hike, but it's on my to-do list when I go back.

Dogs are not allowed on trails in the National Parks. Zion actually has one, the Paurus trail along the Virgin river, that allows dogs. They can go on paved areas or campgrounds while on a lead. We just leave Rosie in the camper it has never been a problem for her.
