We got home on Thursday but didn't have internet access until this evening. Thanks for such a great rally, Marty and Martha. Hope to see you in Minnesota in the Fall! That means all of you!

We had a great time as usual and hope to see you all again soon. We headed west first stopping at the Main Sreet Grill for lunch inq Uvalde (recommend) and then at the 1959 John Wayne Alamo movie set with the replicated Alamo near Brackettville. It was supposed to be closed but the tour guide gate keeper happened to be at the gate and let us in. We had free run of the place with hardly anyone else around. That was cool. Several movies have been filmed there. We are now camped at Seminole Historical State Park 42 miles west of Del Rio. The park campground has wifi! Unbelievable. This is in the middle of nowhere.

Want to thank everyone who came and enjoyed the gathering...WE had a great time too. It's the people who make the group and y'all really make it memorable and fun through thick and thin. Or should I say High and Low water!
Safe travels home and please watch those low water crossings while the Hill Country drains the next couple of days!

So Marty and Martha are miracle workers. Glad they found you a nice place to finish the campout at, now if only they could turn the weather around to sunshine and warm for you all. Take care all and enjoy the friendship of the BSGer's.

[emoticon] OTBIKER and all (includes both of them) have pulled the rabbit out of the hat. [emoticon] The show was about to be exited and they came throgh with this wonderful park and screened in lounge area that is ideal. It was nearly MAGIC I am sure to have been able to do this switch in about 2 hours.

Having been one to sponsor a couple of these...and beeing VERY Lucky with the weather and all....Sassy and I can really appreciate the work and changes that Marty and Martha have been making. [emoticon]

All arrived safe...even with high water detours...[emoticon] but BSG'ers seem to SMILE [emoticon] and BEE SOCIAL and helpfull to each other. [emoticon][emoticon][emoticon]

Thanks for the work and planning plus the "rabbit out of the hat" trick![emoticon]

Jack and I, with Sandy & Julie, are still in Del Rio. We intended to be in Kerrville this afternoon. However, after a strong windy and wet ride on US90 from East of Van Horn on Tuesday, through yesterday, and all last night in Del Rio, Jack contracted a 24 hour intestinal bug. (The owner of Broke Mill RV Park told me that the 'bug' is widespread in this area). We did not think you would appreciate us 'sharing.' We are planning on coming tomorrow. Jack & Judy

****RALLY LOCATION CHANGE DUE TO EVACUATION FROM "BY THE RIVER" AS A RESULT OF THE GUADELUPE RIVER FLOODING**** New location is at the Kerrville Schreiner Park on Hwy 173 East of Kerrville. They have spots reserved for our group under B Social Group. We have the dining hall reserved for Friday and Saturday nights, complete with picnic tables two microwaves and a working fridge.... plus ceiling fans. It is a little walk from the camp sites, but nice and dry. Let's have some fun now! See you there!

All together high and dry - well as dry as one can expect with 2.65" of rain... but not flooded at the Kerrville Schreiner Park. All is good at this time.
