I left Norco at 2pm on Thursday 3-25. The MJR camp was in Mule Canyon this year rather than Odessa Canyon as in years past. The wind blew all night Thursday night with some gusts over 50mph.

On Friday morning at 10am I led the geocaching run. We had 7 Jeeps. MIB was my navigator. We spent the morning in Hidden Valley.

After lunch we headed for Alvord Well and Alvord Mine.

Back to camp at 4:30pm. We sat around the campfire for a bit before the wind picked up.

On Saturday morning I explored Sunrise Canyon.

After Sunrise Canyon I watched some of the action at gatekeeper.

Then we ran up Odessa

And spent some time exploring Oregon Mine.

Back at camp at 7:30pm. We sat around the campfire until 11pm with no wind.

Sunday morning I was on the road for home at 9am and home at noon. Another fabulous weekend in the desert.

Well, that was my best guess off a Google map.
