Here is our spot at Henry Cowell Redwodds State Park in Felton, CA. Stayed Friday thru Monday. Hiked down to Roaring Camp for the Civil War re-enactment...those guys are crazy! It was a relaxing weekend in the redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains hanging out with family, friends and watching the Indy 500 and NASCAR.

On Monday we drove 12 miles down to Seacliff Beach. Full hook-ups at 26 sites right down on the beach (although the sites are paved). Tough to get a spot here...have to reserve it at 8:00 AM on November 1st for a May camping date. At 8:01 AM they're gone. The weather was great...low 70's and NO FOG!

The Monday Sunset view out the back door looking at Capitola.

Looking down the walkway and row of RV's. The locals walk here everyday and touch the wall at the end. Some sort of tradition...

Looking back from the beach.

The end of a great 4 day weekend...unloading at home...already miss hanging out in the rig.

All wrapped up until Fathers Day weekend...NASCAR in Sonoma!

Thanks for looking...now get out and camp!

I spent many nights and days camping at Seacliff and New Brighton State Beaches in my misspent youth during the sixties, love that area.

We passed a week or so at Sea Cliff last year at this time. We lucked out and got a cancellation or two. We met some very nice folks, and marveled at the gang that came on the weekend picnicing. There also was a hugh flock of migrating sea birds passing thru unlike anything we had ever seen. A remarkable State campground, the staff was very kind and helpful to us, 5 stars!

Raiders5,
We go there often, can't beat it. Our rig is a 1999 F350 dulley Black and Gold with a Lance 915 on it. Hope to see ya there sometime. By the way I have been a Raider fan sense there first spring training camp in Santa Cruz, yep Santa Cruz.
