We just got back from a nice weekend camping with my family. We loaded up Thursday night so we could go right after work on Friday. We went to a place up near Cusic Wa, about 60 miles from our home.

Here is my son screwing around with the BB gun as soon as we got camp all set up Friday evening.

The weather during the day was in the mid 70's and in the mid 40's at night. We really couldn't of asked for better weather. The next morning we sat out to hit the trails. With all the rain we have received it make some of the trails a little challenging. Here is a pic of one of the trails, I slit into the rut and sank all the way to my raditior guards!!

But I made it to the top but my son had to turn around half way because the ruts were eating him alive!

We found this old deserted cabin as soon as we got to the top. I took a pic because I thought is was neat to see something like that is the middle of no where.

We made it all the way to the top of the mountain, the views were amazing!

It doesn't get much better then this!!!

This was back at the camp site. There was a small track that we could play on right out our back door!

Here is my son screwing around with my oldest son's goggles (my oldest son broke away to come up and visit for the day).

As I stated before my oldest son (22) came up for the day and wanted to learn to ride a dirt bike, so I couldn't think of a better place to learn.

Nice camp. We haven't camped in that area, may have to check it out next summer.

What do you tow to haul the bikes?

Some of my fondest memories are "camping with my family in our little Shasta travel trailer and sleeping in the canvas hammock bunk above the dinette" [emoticon]

Back in those days, we had a porta-pottie and bathed in the lake . . .

So much of America to see and hardly enough time to see it all [emoticon]

ENJOY

Some go to the mountains for fresh air, but it looks like you go to catch some!

Making good use of the TC with the family, these are the good ol days.

Thanks for the post.
