If there's a limit to how many pictures can be taken of the Grand Canyon, I haven't found it. So, hearing that there would be some storms in the area, I headed back to the north rim, and vicinity.

Since I'm not possessed of flowing, descriptive prose like Whazoo, Seldonseensmith, and others, most of my trip reports are just pictures. A few are below, and the rest are here .

A little color in the Kaibab National Forest.

Steamboat Mountain, from near Timp Point

After another storm --

-- outstanding photographic conditions. If I only had an outstanding photographer.

North Timp Point. Both places, I was the only one there, or on either road.

A little Arizona sunset

End of the road - high in the Kaibab.

Well -- I was going to take House Rock Road. Step aside, cows.

A perfect camp spot, above House Rock Road.

Pretty decent view, too.

Lake Powell -- deserted through the magic of selective photography.

Hope you liked the pictures.

Cal, in the strictest sense of the above statement, as long as you were outdoors while taking the pictures, you were (are) "outstanding"

I had really wanted to make a fall colors visit to the North Rim, but the same storm that sent you there was chasing me home from Utah, and well, time simply ran out. So thanks for making the trip for me.

I appreciate the post and pics.

Cal:

Several of those photographs seem to be 3D (the depth dimension is magnetic).

Well done!!
