Man, it's gonna a loooong winter if you guys keep putting up such great trip reports while I'm stuck at home. As you have noted, just getting out and about even for a short while is a great use of the TC. Despite the pain it causes me to watch others having fun, I'm grateful you are willing to share.

Good work, and thank you.

The Truck Camper forum posters do an excellent job of providing fantastic trip reports with pictures - another job well done.

I grew up on the shores of Lake Huron (thumb). Not sure I could take the cold any more but I do miss Michigan.

Nice trip report. Like your TC. Beautiful morning lake pictures. Did you finally lose that squirrel or has it moved in with you?.
Thanks for the nice report.

Nice trip with excellent narrative!!

I can only imagine what Lake Michigan would look like today as our 1st "in-land hurricane" (fitting every meteorological description of) hits this region!

Many thanks for all your hard work/time in putting this together for all of "us"

....sorry, I just have to mention this:

Wave heights on the Great Lakes (primarily Superior, but others, too possibly) due to this super-storm/in-land hurricane are expected to reach near or over 30-feet high by tomorrow (Wednesday) morning; the weather service says that this is unprecedented and completely "off the charts", and may be a once in a lifetime phenomenon ! What the heck is going on here??
