Can anyone put some light on the 2010 Shadow Lite TC. I recently saw a couple and they look to be really well thought out with excellent workmanship. Their web site says "under construction and comming soon". I tried to email them and it came back undelivered. Ill try and call tomorrow. Anyone--- |

Prior to our current TC we owned a Shadow Crusier- which we really liked. The only draw back - I could not sit at the dinette without smacking my head on the cabinet. This camper looks very similar- fiberglass nose and rear corners. This maybe the same manufacture? or someone who has brought that line back ??? This camper looks to be very nice-click here for-----> Shadow Lite |

Seems I recall Shadow Cruiser going out of business quite a while ago, but have seen some used units that appear to be pretty good build quality. So, maybe someone has re-opened that line, or bought and started manufacturing again ... so wonder who did it. IF another company bought its name, then the quality may or may not transition with it. I heard the previous owners sold to a coorp. who didn't know the business. They finally went out of business. Now, Its suppose to be the orignal owners starting again. It looks to be built very good.

Good solid product, a reasonable price, and a manufacturer that will go well out of their way for you (Derril personally drove about 500 miles to deliver it to a local RV dealer for us). We racked up 2,200 Miles on the road in June thru 5 states over 2 weeks, 3 adults and 1 child were no trouble with the dinette bunk. Not to mention a week in July with the canoe on the racks Derril added for us on top and one week in August where my daughter got to use "her" personal bunk again. Can you post pictures of your Shadow lite and tell us more about it? Thanks 1995 Ford F-350 DRW 7.5 2014 Lance 1050S |

They keep going out of business, getting sold and then come back. The last time they came back as Cruiser RV. A couple of years ago they quit making truck campers and focused on trailers. Cruiser RV is a part of Doubletree RVs. The trailers are still sold under the name Shadow Cruiser. The Shadow Lite is identical to the Shadow Cruisers of the past except the cabinets appear to be real wood. Looks like now they are made in Michigan now. I have a 1995 pop up, been mostly happy with it. Had a lot of issues with the table when it folds down into a bed, table would slide out while I was sleeping on it. Some latches fixed that problem.

I'm guessing Cruiser RV who make trailers bought the rights to the name "Shadow Cruiser" since as gwo says they now use that name for one of their trailers. Hence the new name "Shadow Lite" had to be used buy these guys in Michigan. That is definitely the same nose cone as my '91 Shadow Cruiser with the same internal access hatches to store stuff in the nose cone. Steve. Mine is a 2005 model Shadow Cruiser which has the "Fun Finder" graphics on the side. NADA didn't show them being made in 2005, but the paperwork with the unit definitely says 2005. Same fiberglass nose as this one. Bob |

The very aerodynamic, lightweight Shadow Cruiser trucker campers were extremely popular throughout the US and Canada in the 90's. they are being re-introuced by a new company called SHADOW-LITE INC. This company is in no way associated with CRUISER RV LLC. It is a privately owned co. in White PIgeon Mi.,run by the former owner of United Specialties,a manufracturer of heavy duty truck conversions and myself with the help of other people with combined experence of over 100 years. You may or may not remember me but I was one of the two original owners of the "Shadow Cruiser". Iam very impressed with the level of quality both interior and exterior. I never thought that I would say this but I feel that we have made substantial improvements for your camping enjoyment.
