Ahhhhh.... Cool blue water, mountains on the horizon, pine scented warm breezes, furry companions and loved ones nearby. I do believe you have found the fabled stairway to heaven. Thanks for bringing us along!

Wow! Lake Almanor looks great. Is it full this year? I haven't seen it full in a number of years, but this year was a good snowpack. For those that don't know where Lake Almanor is. It is on Highway 36. Just take Highway 36 East off of Highway 5 at Red Bluff. Enjoy!

Buzz, if you haven't been there and have the time checkout Bucks Lake over by Quincy. We lived in Meadow Valley for 17 years and loved it.

So Friday night Ruth got her first fly fishing lesson. She enjoyed herself.

Saturday we went hiking in the morning and found this lake
[image]
We packed up and cruised 9 miles down some dirt roads to camp at yellow creek. Some of the grades were steep so it was nice to be able to shift into low fwd and stay off the brakes in the loose stuff.

Then we pulled into camp. Yellow creek flows by less than 50 fett from the camper.
