thank you for sharing

I enjoyed your pictures and narritive...

the i called for janet (wife) to come a look.

The GCNP is her favorite of all of the parks... she loved your thread... she also informed me that she doen't want to do any more roads like that.

We were there when the gate was opened at Jacobs Lake a couple of years ago in May... we had to wait in the woods for a couple of days which was a good rest.

We went to Bryce canyon and then to Zion...

Thanks for getting us to recall our own memories.

Looking forwaed to your many more trip reports.

Sleepy

Thanks for sharing your journey.

I love the North Rim, but haven't been fortunate enough to camp there or get off the beaten track - just had to stick with the lodge.

Steve.

That road looks "reasonably maintained" to me. Any smoother and too many folks would be tempted to drive out to the point. Or, folks would be driving too fast and not enjoying the beauty along the way.

Thanks for taking the time to share such a great place.

Thefreedictionary's definition of "sublime": 1) of high spiritual, moral, or intellectual worth; 2) not to be excelled; supreme; 3) inspiring awe; impressive. Point Sublime fits all these definitions! Thanks for sharing [emoticon]
