You can never have too many White Rim trail pictures and trip reports. I've enjoyed each one and hope to go with a group someday. Thanks for sharing.

Great work editing all the pics and vids, Alex. That must've been quite a job. The only pics I've doctored for sharing are these 3 --

Thanks Alex! We'll see what happens... As I browsed through past calendar years I noticed you've had several entries. It's all part of the fun, I think.

Great trip report - the video really brings it to life, especially the sounds of terror [emoticon]

Many thanks again, I don't know when I'll get a chance to get pack to that corner of America, and when I do I tend to be in a 2 wheel drive rental car, so I never get to see the stuff you've just done.

Cheers,

Steve.

The biggest danger on this trail is the rain, the soil turns into what a lot of us call red snot. It stick to everything and is slicker than a hot knife going through melted butter. Check the Truck Camper Trip Report, there are a couple of them done with snow on the ground. My first trip down with my DW with me it had rained and wiped out the road to Murphy Campground. Here's a couple of videos from our first time on the WRT while it was rainning.

Alex,
i've been mostly off of TC.net for a while taking care of family business, but I spied this TR in passing, and I've got to say it brought back memories of our last trip there almost a year ago. Good work, lots of work, getting the pics and mp3's together for this expo. Here we are last September coming back down the trail to Murphy's Hogback with that pesky overhanging rock, a problem your other two companions did not have.

I am confused here. Did you not go all the way, one end to the other on the White Rim trail?
