Rockwood vs. Flagstaff: Is there any difference in these two Forest River brands? We are currently looking at the Rockwood 3065W and the Flagstaff 30WRLTS. The floor plans and dimensional specs on these two units are identical.

Cosmetic differences only. Built in the same plant from the same plans by the same workers. (at least that's what I was lead to believe)

Thanks for the info. We prefer the Rockwood dealer over the Flagstaff dealer, so that is where we will focus our attention.

We have the Flagstaff but we ordered the floor to ceiling atrium windows that are available in the Rockwood. We truely love our tt. Won't hesitate to get another Forest River product.

Even the standard equipment and the options are identical. As is the construction, interiors, warranties, etc. So you should pick the dealer near you, and establish a long relationship.

P.S.-The base price per NADA runs around $33,000.00, and I found internet sale prices new for that model of $24,500.00, $27,500.00,$25,995.00 and a fairly well loaded one for $25,900.00. Good luck!

The only difference is the colors have different names and the Flagstaff is sometimes marketed as being an "upgrade" over the Rockwood with corresponding price difference. All such claims and price differences are total bunk. These are the same trailer with different names

If you get a Rockwood or Flagstaff be ready to get SEA SICK! They are real nice but no matter what when they are set up (camping) they MOVE A LOT! Front to back and right to left. Good luck

What is the reason for that? The two that I am looking at are not as tall as my current TT, so I would expect them to be less susceptible to the wind.
