I came upon these old photos in my backup files recently. They might be of interest to some of y'all, since the 2800 and its variants are common in B's. These were taken 6 years ago while the Onan was out of my Tiger for warranty work after failing at 8 hours. Sorry for the poor picture quality; the service manager was trying to carry on a conversation with me while I was taking them.
For orientation, I'm calling the service access panel the 'front'. I think these pix will apply in part to the 2500LP and the 2800 CampPower, too.

Looking down on the front from above. The governor mechanism is at the top center, the muffler at the right, and the choke rod runs across just below center.

Looking at the back side. The starter is the can-shaped black object at the upper right, the muffler at the left, crankcase at center, generator to the right.

Another backside view. The fuel pump is just visible at the lower right, under the white wires. Starter is left of center. The back of the choke stove is at the upper left.

Looking down from the front. Air filter housing is at left center.
Hope this will help some folks making DIY repairs or deciding whether to attempt them, and be of interest to others who just want to know what's in 'the green box of noise'.
