Just passing this along...noticed it today.
Costco RV refinance program....4.5%...Clink HERE for Link

We didn't finance our present rig so I'm not interested and don't even know if this is a good deal. But, I often see folks here on the Forum asking about RV financing.

Looks like a scam to get more Costco members. You join hoping to refinance and then you are turned down but they have you as a Costco member for a year. Your thoughts?

I save enough on Heineken and Jack Daniels to pay for my membership, not to mention the cash back every year.

Just my opinion.

Did a refi with Costco last fall at 4.4% Saved a lot of bucks over a 10 year period. Almost 2% lower than my old rate. Been a member for years. What I save in the cost of pool chlorine alone almost pays the yealy dues. I use their AMEX card and the cash back I recieve from it is several times the cost of yearly dues.

Been a Costco member for years and can never think of a time that I felt I was taken advantage of. I guess a smart person who wants to do the refi and is not a Costco member would check their credit score and have a pretty good idea if the loan should be approved before ever joining.

Same company (Essex Credit) that does Good Sam, Close to same rate

https://www.goodsamrvloans.com/rates/

I will add, I'm a Costco member and wouldn't consider anything about them a scam.
As someone stated: Before you attempt to refinance, better know your credit score.
