Any experience traveling along Arizona highway 98 as a route to take from the Monument Valley area west towards Page AZ? We will be driving a 40ft MH pulling a Honda Odyssey mini van - about 65 ft long in total

It's been several years, but my recollection was that Hwy 98 was absolutely no problem at all.

Driving it for many years, always made it. This is still Az. not South America.

So big a world, so little time to see.

No problems... It is a 65mph road. It is plenty hilly with a couple good corners that will require you to slow down, but nothing that will be a need of concern! It is a beautiful drive after you've been on the road for about 20 minutes. Plenty of desert.

The only downside that I can think of is that there isn't much of a shoulder on the road but there are plenty of roads leading out onto the reservation and quite a few pullouts if you need to stop. A majority of the pullouts and dirtroads are hard dirt, but some are still soft sand so watch out.

Grew up in Page.
