It's a good thing you were prepared for the cold so you could enjoy your vacation.

That toothpaste mud squeezing out of the duals brings back memories of a trip with my pre-Tiger RV. I scraped and scraped and washed and washed and never did get all that mud off. It sort of dried like epoxy.

Wow! The most bizarre nearly summer trip report ever!

All the summer toys used in very interesting ways (slush paddling?) [emoticon]

We've been in quite the drought over the past 3 months, then wham, catastrophic rains over the past 4 days (roughly 70% of the entire island of Montreal was severely flooded!); in our mountain area, many roads were overwashed with flooding. We're getting severe tropical weather not usually seen north of the southern US and Mexico these past few years.

....oh, also 2 very destructive tornadoes nearly a week ago, and 3 more tornadoes overnight (2 of them less that 30 minutes drive from us).

Enjoy the snows!

Enjoyed the trip, but sure wish we could get some of the cooler weather. It hit 100 here over the weekend.
If it had been me, those inflatables would have hit an iceberg and sank. LOL

Funtastic trip, wow. Absolutely love it, you almost make me want a hardside to camp in the snow. Major cool pictures, love the one of you kicking back on the frozen lake in the lil boat. And what a picture of your tires. It looks like they did their doodie, I mean duty, to get you out. What a great trip report, thanks!

great trip report. as with anyone who lives in the northern mountains we are prepared for any weather....as you may get any weather at anytime. man, that mud would have put me in trouble without 4x4. im assuming you put it in 4x4.

Mountain country often has weather surprises. Your report is fine example of people who can deal with whatever comes and have fun with it.
Good photos and well done.

Thanks for sharing your winter, er, I mean SUMMER trip! [emoticon] It does look like you had a great time! Getting "snowed in" for a few days can be fun, as long as you are prepared and can get out when you need to! Glad your damage was minimal to the rig!
