Yes, there are restrooms located behind the office building. They are clean each with two shower stalls. With all sites having FULL hookups, these should have little use EXCEPT for those without bath facilities in their RV.
New slide show has been placed on my website. Place your cursor over the photo for names. Tent site is where I would place a tent for our gatherings. Last photo is a Google satellite view of campground.

I am not a new member but I have a question. (I searched both sites and I couldn't find the answer but maybe I just missed it). Are there already dates set for the rally? Is it always in May?
We can never attend the Rallies because I am still working in May (Preschool Director). We are both from Western Michigan and attending would be very appealing but it seems to me that you always have them in May. So I was just wondering.

There is no set date for the rallies, it is a part of a site nomination to suggest a site and date. It is up to the rally organizer. It happens that all past rallies have been in late May and part of it may be just tradition. However, it is harder to reserve large blocks of sites at campgrounds during peak season when most people vacation. Weather is another factor. Summers can be HOT.
The bottom line is that rallies are when those that take the time to nominate a site decide they want to have the rally. There is no guiding group that sets dates or any other parameters for the rallies. Each rally is under the control of the person or persons that nominate the selected site and set a date.

Has there been a rally in the New England area?
How many would travel to attend if it were in New England?

We understand that dates are up to Bob and Shaaron for the UP. If it is up to a vote, we favor the weekend after Memorial Day. Hopefully, it would be a little warmer than mid-May plus the lilacs on Mackinaw Island are more likely to be in bloom.

Yes the weather in the U.P. that time of year would be my only concern but it is a major one. Maybe a date change to the summer would work out better.

The week after Memorial Day is perfect for us because we always travel home to Minnesota after the Indy 500 Race via the UP. That is our annual pastie run. Campgrounds are not too crowded that week.
