We just traveled I 10 from San Antonio to Jacksonville, Fl. The road is very good, we had a great trip. After we got into Florida there were rest parks about every 30 miles on I 10.

Glad you posted current conditions. I10 gets a bad rap due to old conditions.

Sorry...didn't mean to make it to complicated. There have been several request on I10 so I just wanted to post that the road as far as San Antonio to Jacksonville was real good. No construction and the traffic was not bad. Even going through the tunnel at Mobile, Al was smooth and easy. In louisiana we took I12 around New Orleans, been there several times was trying to get to Florida.

I-10 in Florida has been in good condition for years so far as I know. LA had the worst road surface in my experience, glad to hear that they may have finally got in good shape.

Florida does a good job spacing rest stops too unlike a lot of other states. Texas for example. But Florida want to keep all those tourists happy too.
