Thanks for your trip pics and the pictures of the historical notes. Wow, what fun ya'all had ... even without Mollie.

Great Trip Report and Photos, I need to go back and visit Maine, (it's been 22 years since my last visit). I love your Avion Camper. Thanks again for posting.

Wow - that was great! I really enjoy the TR's from the east because things are so different...but maybe it's just because that stuff is so far away for us. Thank you for taking the time to share it.

A lot of your pictures on the logging roads and private logging land reminds me of our trip through some of the interior parts of Vancouver Island a few years back.

I have to say I really love your setup. That first photo of it 'ready to go' is fantastic. The old Avion really looks at home sitting in that flatbed. I also have to say having one really long opening on the upper boxes would be more functional than two doors like I have.

Thanks again!

Thanks for taking us along.

We are just north of you (Sugar Hill- next to Franconia) and enjoy going over into Maine whenever we have the time.

Great report! Wife and I hiked the Appalachian Trail for a week in that area 20 years ago. Gulf Hagas was not quite as neat as we had hoped... most of the old historical pictures show the gorge and sweeping views that were created by the logging, but that is all grown in now and the trees block most views.

Love the old engines in the woods.
