Laguna has to be one of my favorites too [emoticon]. I prefer the meadow loop. The sites are level and I get cell phone coverage. Wind can be an issue though. I noticed they raised the online reservation rate from $20 to $22 a night plus the reservation fee! Bummer

Nice TR Tiger.
I've been intrigued with the Salton Sea and it's history so it was nice to see your tidbit about it.
Hope your next trip goes well for you too.
Thanks

Tiger,
Yours was a very different kind of TR. Birds. Great pix of lots of birds. That's good. I think you had lots of company at least in the snow bird areas. The Salton Sea area gives me the creeps. We've been there a lot, but the chemical imbalance makes my skin crawl. So corrosive. You get that brine on your undercarriage and it's curtains for your muffler and shocks. If it weren't for the blow out of the Colorado river in 1912 there would be no water in the Salton Sea.
You picked a great time to be there.
regards, as always, your buddie, jefe
