Your fix was far less costly than my mishap last week. Always enjoy your trip reports. My meals never look like yours though. Could it be because they are made complete in the Microwave in under 3 min.?

I never use the microwave. I grew up cooking in restaurants, this stuff is easy.

happy to hear the mrs is a-okay. i had the same thing happen with my lights on the camper on a trip a couple months ago. my lights worked...somewhat. acted like a short. after investigating with a multimeter (on a frigid day at our nights stop spot i must add) for a few minutes i was stumped. i then checked the cord and yep...it was slightly pulled out. making some contact but not completely.

thanks for sharing your trip and let me know when dinner time is okay.

We are glad that Ruth had no serious injuries and you were able to continue and have a good trip "after the side trip to the Doc".
What did the damage to the helmet? I assume it wasn't the soft ground. A hoof, arena wall or post?
We enjoy your posts.

Looks like you had a great camping trip. My camper is buried in snow and will be for another month at least, but I am glad someone out there is camping and having fun.

I have always heard that camping makes memories - I guess some memories are going to be bigger than others...

Enjoy it all when you can...

Enjoyed the trip report and photos...

One nice thing about most of California is that the RV/camping season is all year.

You always have the best food. Glad your wife is ok. I guess she might be a bit stiff for a few days. This is a new horse to you guys still being trained isn't it. Just be a little more guarded around it and stay safe. Enjoyed the pictures.
