Great report. I've been there a couple of times in the past year. Last fall and through the winter they drained the entire lake to dredge. You had one of the better campsites. My favorite is just a couple of doors down from the one you chose Although them make them here, there are not many truck campers in Hoosierland. In fact, as you probably discovered the campsite reservation system does not have a category for truck campers.

Very good trip report. The children will enjoy camping and remember their entire lives. I did get a chuckle out of the picture of "Duke". I have had two dogs named Duke and they were both large German Shepherds. Just seemed funny to me to see a mop dog named Duke.

Great pics, love the kids around the campfire. How long did they talk about their outing?

You could have gotten the rear of the camper lower by placing your leveling blocks under the front wheels. Normal application is to place them under the low corners to help pre-level the rig. A stick on level that can be seen from the drivers seat or in the mirror help with the side to side. Still have to get out and look a the side for the front to rear level.

A walk through campgrounds has allowed me insight to many a camping aide. Campers are very adaptive.

Looks like every day was brand new for the whole family. I love the kids look of awe over just everything. I wish i could have a 'brand-new' experience like that. I noticed the jacks were down a ways. Is this the level at which you travel? If so, since they're powered just take them all the way up for traveling. You never know when a big rock or high curb will jump out at them.
