BTW, Advanced Fest Open House with Advanced RV is definitely May 1-3, 2015. That is confirmed. Anyone can go. Maybe half the people attending had other Bs and no intention of buying a new one. They provide a lot of information, interaction with their whole craft team, and bring in outsiders for seminar workshops all related to Class Bs. This year they had Mercedes Benz, VB Air Suspension, TheFitRV.com, Outback and some others there. One thing they didn't do was give a sales pitch. I bit anyway. Actually, I was determined two years ago as their first visitor at their startup but had to get some use out of my B I had bought the year before and fortunately let them mature and make some amazing advances.
I'm planning to start my Maritime Province and Newfoundland Adventure in May 2015 and will be gone for 4-6 months. BUT ... I will be attending the Advanced RV Fest and Open House if it is indeed on May 1-3. I will leave right from there on my down east adventure.
It was an enjoyable time and very informative. Also looking forward to seeing some new innovations that they will probably have well under way by then.

Nomination for B12 rally site
Submitted by Harold and Jackie Delk
We would be happy to host at Four Paws Kingdom Campground in Rutherfordton, NC
website: 4pawskingdom.com
Date: May 15-17 (with early arrivals welcome)
Location is within a short drive of Lake Lure, Chimney Rock State Park, and Hickory Nut Gorge. It is also just 60 minutes from Asheville and Biltmore Estate
Owners Meik and Brigit Bartoschek are renowned for their excellent hospitality and turnkey rallies. Meik is an accomplished chef and they are both entertainers and wonderful party planners. We would reserve the entire campground, which would give us 40 level sites with full hookups, large pavilion, free wifi, satellite TV, a group fire pit, opportunities for crafting, and pristine private bathrooms. Although this park is obviously very dog-friendly, you don't have to have a dog to have a great time here. We have camped here many times.

Jim, you were the one who made me promise!
I do have an edit to our nomination. I miscounted the number of RV sites that are at Four Paws. I was including their cabin and permanent RV rental sites, of which they have 6. The owners sent me the exact number: 20 pull-through, 9 back-in, and 4 deluxe with deck and fenced yard. I thought it was important to amend this, so if more sites are nominated, you can take into account that this is a smaller campground. The good part is that we would not be spread out and all sites are convenient to the bathhouse, pavilion, and activity areas. We are happy to answer any questions as you make your decision.

I know, but I didn't want to embarrass you by saying that on the thread.

Embarrass me? No way. Your words of encouragement empowered me. I went to dear Harold, and I asked, "Could we really enjoy doing this?" And he said, "I believe we could, especially if we have Meik and Birgit on board with us for our first attempt." Formerly, they were stars in the cruise ship industry, so "on board" was the perfect phrase. Here we are, waiting to see what the poshB-owners decide! No matter the outcome, B12 will be great, no doubt in my mind, because every one we have attended has been amazing.
