Raften,

I would not really say it is your bad. You hauled heavy for 13 years and truck is almost a 15 year old truck. A Dually truck too. From your profile pick looks like a dually... I would think that it was frame fatigue. Your truck should be enough for your model camper?? All the best to you.

hey raften...that is too bad...but maybe not unexpected? We ask a lot of these trucks!
I just had 2 rear shock mounts repaired on 8 yr old Chevy.
A proper repair and you should be good 2 go.

How will going to 5er change anything? A lot of pin weight there also...

Sorry to hear about this, Raften. We'd love to see some pics, if you have the time.

We ask a lot of our trucks and this illustrates that the payload equation involves more than just tires, axles, suspension, and brakes. The frame is part of the equation, too.

For clarification, is the "hydroform frame" good or bad?
