Man, what a great trip! This is exactly the kind of country Jeanie and I look for when traveling. Bravo, maestro. The family will never forget these grand times.

Thank you! Trip reports are maybe my favorite part of rv.net, and this was a great one!

What a wonderful trip report and adventure to share. I enjoyed the photos of the kids being excited with everywhere they explored. I agree with DJ, in that it was terrific in seeing the back and forth weather and temperatures you encountered. Thanks for taking such inspiring photographs.

Wow, it looks like a great trip! Excellent photography, too. Thanks much for posting that outstanding trip report.

When rockhounding we have taken our small Class C to places similar to where your went - but not nearly to the extent of your trip.

I'm curious, why did you air down for portions of your trip ... in the photos the road surface never looked soft enough to require that.

Ahoy Nolan and Family, next time I want to go! Those muffled voices you hear will be me, hiding in the luggage. That's a great picture of you and your wife jumping off the sand dune. Yes, I know. Thanks Nolan.

Nice TR, We will be heading down that way in a week or so. Just have to keep an eye on the weather. Desert flash floods are the suck, so our plans are quite fluid right now

Thanks all for the kind words, there was plenty of soft sand I just didn't stop at those sections to get out and take photos [emoticon]

Forgot to mention we saw a Desert Badger driving Through Mojave Desert and Brett had a close encounter with a buck :0
