Great report and photos! It is especially good to see Ruth on the hiking trails -- it seems so recent that she had that ankle problem (if I recall correctly), but it must have been a few years ago. Well done, and keep it up!

No it was heavily damaged in the November flash flood and is currently closed to the public

Thanks for the comments, spent a couple of hours washing off the road grime, bug splats and general yech from the outside of the truck and Lance today. Already have the itch to head back out.

Great Trip Report and Photos, Thanks for posting. I haven't been to Death Valley in 20 years now, Last time I hiked to the bottom of Ubehebe Crater, that was fun! But, now you have an excuse to go back, Scotty's Castle. Happy New Year!
