I have created this conversation thread for the 14th Annual RV.Net Class B Rally since we already have one nomination. This thread is for discussion of this any more nominations that might be made.
It will then be used for all posts related to B14.

This is the B14 nomination from Connie Farley & Jim McEver who at the B13 Rally.
Greetings B-Rally folks! Lucky B13 was the first rally Jim & I attended and we had a swell time (what rain?). So much so that we would like to continue the fun tradition and offer to coordinate the 2017 B14 Rally. Our nomination is Williamsburg, Virginia. There are many many historical, recreational and educational venues in the area to be enjoyed - outside of the rally weekend activities. We have investigated area campgrounds and think one will be well suited to our needs. The suggested rally date will be the weekend before Memorial Day, May 18 -21, 2017. What do you think?

Connie and Jim, so sorry we had to pull out in the middle of the night without saying a proper goodbye due to our sick pup. (She recovered and is doing fine.) We are thrilled to hear you are nominating a site for B14. We live in VA and have family in Williamsburg, so we are well-positioned to help in any way. Your suggested location is a great idea for many reasons. Thanks for stepping up!

I think Williamsburg will make a fine place to hold the rally. Jackie has already pledged her support; I will be at her side to assist as well. Bravo to you for stepping up. Whatever you need ... just ask.

Just a factoid. If Jim & Connie are the hosts for B14, it will be the first time we have had fulltimers as hosts. Jim & Connie full time in their Sportsmobile Sprinter 3500 EXT Class B RV.

Fred & I are excited that you'd like to host B-14. We too will be happy to help with planning as well as @ the rally. And, the Williamsburg area sounds grand. Can't wait to see what campground you propose!!!
Thanks for stepping up to host, especially given 1) that you are full-timers and 2) that your 1st B rally was just B-13!

We would aim to attend a Williamsburg B Rally at that time of year. Tidewater VA is a great area for many, many reasons. Some fun routes to get there too, including the US 60 peanut route, US 17 with lots to see, US 13 eastern shore (check Bay Bridge/Tunnel rules for RVs), and an Interstate highway (I-64 from I-95).
I would also be willing to help on some door prizes again next winter, and add some help during the rally as needed.

The weekend before Memorial Day weekend would be perfect for us. We have time to kill between the Indianapolis Grand Prix two weekends before Memorial Day and the Indy 500 Race on Memorial Day weekend, a race I've attended dating back to the 1950s. Lately the B-Rally has been perfect for us. This one would be a bonus as we can combine a visit to our daughter and granddaughter in the Washington DC area.
