lousy weather!!

During last month we had an unseasonably cool week here in Boise. I figured it would be a good chance to visit Hells Canyon since it is normally pretty hot by then.

I wanted to try out my motorcycle handlebar rotation modification so the bike and boat were going behind the TC. First off here is how an old man lifts a 150# Super Truss with MC carrier welded to it, heavier on one side and try to line up two holes at once!!

Get the trusty old wagon lined up and lean the truss over on top of it.

Then shim the heavy side with a 4x4 so it's fairly level.[image]

Then roll it over to the truck.

A little jostling and in she goes.[image]

I have to use my Ford fine adjustment tool to get the pins in.[image]

The bike is on and ready to hook up the boat.

Now for the big test. Yes!! I can barely squeeze between the bike and sewer dump while ducking under the AC!! But easier than unloading the bike each time to get in the TC.

Got a late start so wasn't too picky about getting a spot the first night.

The next day I found a better spot with it's very own boat ramp.[image]

Cook shack, garage and lounge.

Yep, pretty much rained the whole trip. Never did launch the boat but did get a couple hour MC trip the Hells Canyon Dam.[image]

Some interesting trails in to the canyons.

Above the dam.

Below the dam.

There's no bad days camping. Just some days that are not as good as others. [emoticon]

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for sharing your trip.

We never outgrow our need for little red wagons, do we? Very useful to have around at any age.
