The view from our site looking out to Monument Valley in AZ. Ours is the Allegro Bus in the foreground.

I did not know there was a campground in Monument Valley. I must go. Where is this campground?

Oops, Monument Valley is in Utah...The campground in the picture is about mile or so from the entrance to Monument Valley. The name of the park is Gouldings Monument Valley campground and rv park. It was a nice park with friendly staff and overflow parking for our enclosed car hauler.

Azalea Campground, Kings Canyon National Park, Jan. 9, 2018:

(This photo makes it look much more rugged and adventurous than it really was. We had cold rain one day, heavy snow for a couple of hours the next day, and the rest of the week was cool and partly cloudy.)

Interesting. I just clicked on the "full size image" link, and the photo as posted on the hosting site is much sharper and more detailed than the photo that shows up on this forum. I guess the photo posting app reduces the resolution quite a bit.

Woke up this morning here in "warm, sunny-in-winter Tucson" ....raised the shade, and saw snow on the mtn. A little rain overnight here in the valley though is all we got.

View from door and back window at Sir Richard Squires Provincial Park in Newfoundland 2016 (Sorry - pics were taken before I knew the doorframe rule, but thought somebody might like to see 'em anyway!)
