Here is how North Wilkesboro looked in 1987. I lived there in 82 and 83, we loaned the golf carts at the dealership to the track and got a boatload of free tickets. Fun days.

When Joe Gibbs doesn't appeal a penalty that costs him a win somebody's or more than one somebody's rear end is in the fire or maybe gone. The nerve of them not to share the scam with the two other cars.

This type of problem is inherent to NASCAR whenever they race on ultra high speed racetracks. They're not going to get rid of the high speed tracks, therefore they will simply keep trying new rules, and higher penalties. Like I've said many times, it's a sport of machines, not athletes. The best driver IS THE ONE WHO GETS TO DRIVE THE BEST PERFORMING MACHINE. Most fans don't know the difference.

A piece of vinyl 5"x2"x.012" thick on the front corners near the wheel openings. Hidden under the exterior vinyl wrap......

To what end(it certainly seemed to help) and talk about premeditated act!!

Noteworthy Hamlin failed pre-qualifying inspection multiple time? Why?

Kyle Busch is still my favorite driver. Therefore, I choose to give him the benefit of the doubt. Was he aware of the cheating? NAH.....he's just the driver.
they probably told him that the crewchief jus wanted to reduce the stress riser.

Cloud, your correct. Today's drivers have no clue of what is in or under the car. Goes to the shop, gets fitted for the seat. With no practice and sometimes no qualifying, "just drive the car and ask no questions"!

That first turn on the Indy road course needs to be changed in my opinion. Or move the start/finish line past it in order to spread the cars out more before they get to it on the starts. Trying to squeeze 36 cars into 3 lanes at the same time didn't work very well yesterday.
Later in the race it was a miracle that Ty Dillion and Kyle Larson didn't get badly hurt when Kyle's brakes failed at 150 mph later in the race. The closing speed of the 5 car was scary when it hit Ty.

This is going to be very interesting next year. KB will be on a mission for sure.
Gibbs wanted his grand son in the car at any cost and that's that.
