Dirtyword, Dirtyword, Dirtyword.

It was hard racing til the last corner.

And Kyle - you can't get lucky unless you are right close to the front.

That was certainly worth watching. Last thought in Chases' brain was
"where the heck did Kyle come from?"

Well, like I mentioned last year, Kyle was looking for a new CREWCHIEF. He NEVER forgot how to drive a racecar. Whenever his racecar is properly configured, a winning driver will have a good chance of winning. Of course, the engine also needs to be competitive (horsepowerwise). The race on the superspeedway will be an indicator of horsepower. We'll see.

Still not the worst

So far I find the give and take, the chemistry, between Jeff and Clint refreshing in the booth for Fox play by play. Just wish for a good baritone 'broadcast' voice.

Awesome win for McDowell. Likely the only one of his career.

I'm glad everyone got of their cars. It was a vicious wreck.

I turned the tv on to my local Fox race channel and all I heard was Bubba this...Bubba that. Switched the channel to a nature program.
Switched back over to Fox later and saw two laps of the usual race parade before the smash up. Watched replays and then Fox goes back into their Bubba this and Bubba that mode.
Soooo disgusted with Nascar....nothing changed from last year. Guess they finished the race but I doubt this old man who was a big NASCAR fan will not watch this season either.

If Michael Jordan wasn't Bubba's owner he'd still be driving in relative obscurity. He led one lap last night. He finished second in 2018. What's the bigger accomplishment?

Did you ever think you would hear this?

First driver locked into the Chase for the championship this year is Michael McDowell.

I'm wondering if they're going to humiliate Kyle Larson before every race this year until Bubba wins one.
