Has anyone purchased a cover for a Lance trailer (specifically a 2017 model 1985)? We researched and considered Covercraft, CalMark (Sunbrella, and Evelle Goldline. We ordered the Goldline because of the superior reviews but after 2 attempts at getting a cover to fit half-way decent, we are now sending the second cover back and searching again. It's not a 100% custom cover so the rounded front of the Lance causes the typically "square" cover not to fit right. It's very sloppy and the front upper "corners" of the cover are halfway down the front of the trailer. It blows up like a balloon during even moderate wind. I guess Anyone have a recommendation for a decent well-fitting cover for a Lance?
Thanks.

Sorry no specifics, but you may want to ask this question over on the Lance Owners Forum. Here's the link to Trailer Talk on the LOA ...

Isn't that your answer? If you want a custom fit then you'll have to be willing to pay for a cover custom cut to your specific trailer. [emoticon]

I've always used generic ADCO covers and certainly there's quite a bit of extra material at the front of our current Coachmen, more so than there was with our previous KZ Spree which wasn't sloped nearly as much. If this extra material is a concern just add a few more straps to keep that material from flapping around in the wind.

Thanks for the input. We decided on CalMark (Sumbrella). We don't have it yet, but the company is excellent to work with so far and have made covers for other Lance owners. Measurements are very precise so we're confident it will be a great cover. I'll try to give a quick post to let you know.

UPDATE: GREAT COVER! A small snafu with the fit of the first one we received but they corrected it quickly and are awesome to work with. It fits like a glove and will stand the test of time even during our AZ weather; sun, wind, rain, monsoon, etc.

Glad you got that cover issue worked out. We tried one on our Ameri-lite ($400) and after an hour's struggle to get the stupid thing over the TT, it looked like a kid wearing his dad's shirt. Baggy, droopy. It also snagged on EVERYTHING, the antenna, AC box, vents, roof corners, etc. Considering we could get a tarp over the TT in a few minutes using paint roller extension handles to lift the leading edge over the roof obstacles, and quickly have it secured with bungee cords (at 10% of the cost and equal service life) we will not waste money on a replacement cover when this ones done.

Careful using a nylon or plastic tarp! The reason you do not see them used on TT's is that the material can scratch the sides and corners of the TT! If they worked well , everyone would use them instead of paying $300-$400 to cover a 30 ft TT.
