@Fulltimin: I hope all is well with you and the project makes good progress. I very much enjoyed the daily updates. Even though I may not agree with all the things you do and how you do them, I have a lot of respect for all the work, effort and money you put into the project. And more than anything I wish that you can finish that thing and get on the road! Bonus if I get to see pictures of the finished motorhome and your adventures.
On my first truck camper, back in 2009, I had to repair some significant water damage. I learned a lot during that 2-month project. Mainly, that I enjoy camping vastly more than working on my camper.
You took on a huge project, and I wish you success!

Joerg68, I agree. I for one have watched this thread from the very beginning and really would like to see the continuing saga all the way to the end.. Hoping that just some "life" got in the way and things will resume soon.

I wish him success too, and I truly, honestly hope someday the project actually gets finished up.
That said, we are 6 weeks away from the 6th anniversary of this thread.
Realistically, what's the over/under on it ever being completed?

The last image I posted that is evidently not showing up is this one... It struck me funny one day, and seemed appropriate at the time.
Let me know if it shows up or not.
If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

I know. I thought I would try it again with a slightly different name of the pic. Just trying to make sure it's nothing on my end.

So disappointing to see a new posting listed and then find the same old crud the moderator warned fulltimin about. Not sure what happened, but this thread hasn't gone anywhere in many months. Now we are 6 years into a project that still has years to go if it ever gets started again. Please stop posting random thoughts instead of something that has to do with the project at hand. It gets my hopes up that there is once again progress only to have them dashed.
