Anybody know what I'm talking about?

If you want to do something, you will find a way.
If you don't, you will find an excuse.

So pathetic.....

I was doing very well today. Got my work done for my niece early. Had breakfast, took a short nap, and I was ready to get to work.

I made the mistake of looking just a little more information of our family's DNA, and searching for some additional information about my wife's side of the family.

Ok, so I'll get a later start than I figured. No problem.

Then, my brother in law called. Ended up on the phone for hours with him and his wife. Lol.

No, I don't regret the time on the phone with him. It did interrupt my plan for working on the motor home, though.

So, yea, I got nothing for tonight. Ugh. Lol.

Hey, I'll just try and stay off the computer tomorrow after doing the work for my niece. We'll see how that works out.

I'll try better tomorrow. I really want to get more work done on this rig.

Hang in there, updates coming tomorrow, maybe.

Hey Fulltimin, I really appreciate your dedication to this project!
But this is not a job, you are not getting paid for it (or fired if you call in sick too many times). Spend time with friends and family first. Motorhome second. invisible internet friends third ;-)

Thank you. My goal for posting daily is to help keep me moving forward. In a really large project like this, it is way too easy at some point, to just slack off, let other things enter in, and wind up delaying and eventually killing the project all together.

I don't want that to happen to this one. Even though there is still a way to go, there is some light at the end of the tunnel, (no, it's not an oncoming train, lol).

I appreciate your's, and everyone's input for the help and ideas I have received on here.

I will continue to try to post daily, as a self imposed goal. I realize, nobody came here to learn things about DNA testing, but as a side note, it can be quite interesting, and surprising.

If you want some entertainment, just go to youtube and search for "surprise dna results". As the dna testing companies will tell you, your test may reveal some unexpected results.

As I said, thanks for the post. I appreciate it.

Ah, it was a nice day today weather wise. Finally managed to get outside today and get a little work done.

The first step was to pull out a piece of coroplast, (plastic cardboard), and tape it into rough place so I could mark it and begin to trim it down a little to get a pattern made.

Next up was to keep trimming the coroplast until it was a correct fit. After a few times of trimming, I've got the pattern where I want it.

Next was to lay the pattern on top of a piece of plywood, so I could mark the plywood, and then remove the template and cut the plywood to size.
