I doubt it. It keeps on getting worse and worse and worse for Tusk.............

Think insurance is high for your Tesla now? You just wait until more and more wrecks are caused by this garbage software.

Can anyone figure this article out for me.

It says they took delivery of 15 Tesla semis but no pics in the press release. Are they trying to say there will be 15 semis on the road now or just they want 15 on the road. Who does a press release like this and completely forgot to post a pic of the fleet.

And if they were delivering how is this not all over Elon’s twitter?

No Semi has been delivered. Just a few more orders to talk about.
Some would call this article misleading.

So Tesla's response to NBC is the software feature is a beta test? So by their own admission Tesla owners are guinea pigs?

Is Tesla gonna pick up the tab for damaged vehicles from their 'testing'? Seems like the you're responsible for your vehicle at all times' admonition is just a little flimsy. Tesla put the feature in the car with the expectation people will use it. If it doesn't perform safely or reliably why in hell is it enabled in the car?

Been that way over a decade now. This still evokes a surprise?

That is what I was thinking. More like a lot misleading. Could have wrote the headline "Telsa made $500 billion in net profit last quarter"...at least that is the plan.

Tom...first career was in Industrial motor controls (motion control, process controls, robotics and automation) and our insurance would not allow any Beta testing without proper long proto-testing and Alpha-Testing (which is all internal). Beta-Testing only after prelim internal agency testing.

Alpha testing is internal and Beta is external, which required qualification, contracts, waivers (insurance mandated) and reviews/training/etc

Industrial, so not to the public and the public would never be allowed to touch

Our people movers did have some public interaction (just along for the ride...cargo and never in control), but after many, many certifications. Georgetown U's horizontal people movers and Ski lifts were abandoned after one jury trail had the owner and provider of the ski equipment over a decade before that accident (we just did the controls) were awarded huge sums

Can only guess the lack of over sight by the agencies is due to the rosy glasses so many view Tusk and his products with...

It will only take one successful lawsuit to wake folks up and is going to become a recall that Tusk is ill prepared to handle

Wonder if Tusk will be on board of his Mars rocket...
