Base model Mustang is not exactly going to put down a 12 second quarter.
Shelby is at least $75,000.
So go ahead and compare base Model S to a top Mustang to get a little more equalized on money.

I don't think you are up on your current Mustang performance. Unless you are suggesting base=v6.

Ludicrous Tesla Raven Edition 1/4 Mile RECORD!

The hot Mustang looked like it was in a coma compared to the full size Tesla S.

All that noise and they still got their asses handed to them by a stock 4 door 5 passenger sedan. Too funny.

How much was that Telsa? There are bountiful Mustangs and Camaros running those times for far less invested. I don't think I would use this as a proxy for speed or quickness vs an apples to apples comparison. Now if it was an analysis of what can someone do with more cash than brains you have something.

That Tesla was a P100D performance. So 99,990. Unless you want a different colour. [emoticon]

Of course if you are okay with a slow 3.7 sec zero to sixty then you can save 20 grand and get one at 79,990.

The fastest Mustang gets faster. The 2020 fastback Shelby GT500 gets a supercharged 5.2-liter V8 engine with a whopping 700 horsepower. The most powerful street-legal Ford ever built can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in around 3.5 seconds, with a quarter-mile time below 11 seconds, according to the company.

(google)

But still I would take the Tesla over the GT500 any day, any conditions.

I'm ready. Lets go. I have a $1000 bill that says I smoke any Tesla car that cost 10X's as much as I paid for my street rod.

Anybody want to race 1/4 mile just PM me.

If that $1000 bill is in good shape it is probably worth more than the car [emoticon]

No!! Say it's not so! Time is running out for NYC deal with SC. You better get some people employees employed Tusk or the taxpayers are going to want their money back!

Tusk knew Solar City was going broke before he bought it.

What? Tusk would never do that! He would never lie! He is going to save the world!

Thin skinned bully Tusk made up allegations.

This is going to cost Tusk some money! Is Tusk going to settle or fly the plane into the ground? Smart money says he is going to fly the plane into the ground!

I hope "pedo" adds a bunch of damages!!! Like a BUNCH of damages!

Elon Musk announced yesterday that loaner cars capable of running Autopilot would be available for customer use. The decision came following an inquiry from the Tesla Owners Silicon Valley Twitter account, who received a loaner after dropping his vehicle off for service.

Civil suits? I'm thinking Musk may at some point be fitted for an orange prison jumpsuit. [emoticon]
