First, private jet flying is a legitimate beef as far as climate change. Rockets, that is ill informed. The exhaust is just water vapor. Liquid oxygen mixed with liquid hydrogen, H2O. But when cooled to -300 degrees, creates an awesome explosion.

Here is a fun Read:

Where do some of you people come up with this stuff?

The Falcon Heavy is a KEROSENE rocket. It burns tons and tons of kerosene! Kerosene is 34% carbon.

And this puts tons and tons of carbon into our world.

When king Tusk shot a car into space for "fun" it put tons of carbon into the world we live in. Cool hu?

You people need to do some reading. [emoticon]

SpaceX was required to run a test launch with an appropriate payload. Yes Elon chose to use the rocketman as the test payload. Could have just as easily been a block of concrete. Same test was required either way. Quite frankly I find rocketman far more interesting.

Elon and SpaceX did not launch the roadster simply for fun and giggles as your post implies.

Considering your twist on the facts I think you are being a bit harsh with your correction of rocket fuel. But again this is somehow related to the Semi and all the fraud you talk about too. Insane.

Says a guy who drives an 8.1L that emits more PM, NOx, CO, CO2 and gets worse fuel mileage than any modern diesel. And drives a direct injected gas engine that emits more PM, CO, CO2, and used more fuel than the equivalent diesel car. Practice what you preach much?

I had two PSD Excursions that were a pain in the but to maintain compared to my 8.1 van that has double the space and payload compared to my PSD Excursions. What SUV could carry 12 passengers and luggage on long trips ? BTW I just road my bike over 12,000 miles since Oct. 20 2017 and that is more miles than my 8.1 van in the last ten years.

A used E350 with a PSD if you need to tow more than 5k or a new Transit with a 3.2L diesel if you don't. Either come with a payload of over 2,500 lbs.

To me, someone who is telling others that they should protect the environment should do all they can to do the same as well. Like Elon who makes electric cars yet flies over 150k miles a year on a private jet and blast rockets into the sky. One would think that if we were really on the brink of a major climate catastrophe like they claim, then he would stop using private jets and put blasting rockets into the air on hold until we got it under control. I guess they are more into people doing as they say and not as they do.

Is that a joke or what ?

No.

Get a clue.

And...... those rockets still pollute regardless if he is doing it to make profit by blasting satellites in the air. He also doesn't need to fly 150k miles on a private jet.

I don't envy anyone that flies 150,000 miles on business per year.
Even if some is personal... no thanks.

With any luck this will taper off as the business structure and production gets more routine. G3 in China seems to be going well.

Unless you are talking a bunch of short Detroit to Chicago type trips that is not a big deal for business. Now a few trips per year can be a PITA. Flying that many miles you don’t even need to buy first class as your status will get you upgraded 90% of the time.

As usual you're missing the point Time.

Here let me spell it out for you. Tusk is all ways harping about being green. The problem with that is he is using the #1 dirtiest rocket you can shoot.

Kerosene is very polluting for rocket fuel.

If he is so green why not use liquid H and O2? Oh that's right, because it's more expensive!

So it's not about being green with Tusk, it's about making more $$$$$. Nothing wrong with that except he needs to start telling the truth.

BTW Time. So how much money is Tesla going to make this qt? You told me over a year ago that Tusk was going to fund the Semi with funds he makes from the M3. That being the case; I expect he will make money this qt to fund the Semi. Right?

So how much $$$$$ is Tesla going to make this qt Time? I already gave you my answer. So what is yours?

Yeah, I'll bet you get the unbiased story from a magazine called "Business Insider". They'll give you the straight scoop on why CEO's need their own jet. Riiiiiight.

You missed my point. You harp on others for a statement that is wrong and then make up your own garbage in the same post.

How much money is Tesla going to make this quarter?
This is the question.
How much money is Tesla going to make? We will know in 11 days who is closer.

What's your guess Time? You said in the past that Tesla was going to make money on the M3 to finance the Semi. Do you still say they are going to make money this qt? Or are you going to move the goal post AGAIN like you have in the past?

Money raise soon! [emoticon]
