I hate to say it but I may have been asleep at the wheel of my Tesla for a few moments while driving late a few nights ago. Totally unintentional but if I was autopilot earned its price in those few seconds.

Do you not understand the difference between a race car and a 4 door family car that also runs 9.22 sec 153+ on the street ?

Pre-auto pilot, I have to leave a high-paying gig with top floor office with a view with long commute because I was having a dangerous micro-sleep along the brutal Los Angeles freeways.

Auto-pilot and no-cost fuel would have made me stay.

I don’t know. Check out Randy Pobst and his Tesla Paid model S. Kinda cool sound. By the way, Randy is 64 years old and won the race. When I grow up I want to be like him. Amazing reactions. Watch the whole video...and hang on. Nuts.

The Tesla Roadster with SpaceX package does 0-60 in 1.1 sec and 8 seconds in the 1/4 mile and is a street machine not a race car.

The 4 door Ford Maverick of Jack Roush was #1 in NHRA Pro Stock back in the 70's.
