These people never ceases to amaze me.

There is always a cloud in their silver lining and, if there's none, they'll get their hoses so they can make rain in somebody's parade.

Truckers and companies are lining up to reserve their semis.

And seriously, they don't think that these people and their analyst has not done their due diligence best use, cost-benefit... before they decided.

Come on!

PS, your man crush on Elon was just kinda gross, but who am I to judge. But now it’s getting downright creepy…

Yes, you are with your projection. Get help, buying huge trucks and big guns may be sending you soon to the poor house.[emoticon]

And no, I'm not a fan on Elon except on his vision and pioneering work on EV. Otherwise, I find him as a person reprehensible. I should know, my son worked for him, I'm a stockholder petitioning him to strengthen Tesla's culture of diversity, acceptance and transparency in governance.

And least you thought we forgot, we are still waiting for your brake and shear Cybertruck know off.[emoticon]

Just curious how much money have they actually put down on those semis?

Whatever it is, the answer is NANA, as it's not your money.

There goes that ignorant fear-mongering "socialism" word again for those who have not followed the evolution of new political and economic systems.

And yes, Norway, who by the way seems to be going full ahead with EVisation of their transportation system is a democratic socialist country who scored highest in quality of life, has the happiest citizen, vitually no poverty, no one goes bankrupt paying for medical care which is universally provided free, don't have student loan forgiveness because of free education for all levels and most secured seniors with adequate pensions and don't have to eat cat food when money is running out until the next social security payout.

And the country is not unique, other Nordic democratic socialist countries like Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Finland... have similar system.

You evidently did not take the time to read the site that 8.1 linked to, which is what my post was referring to, not surprising though. That article has so much socialist BS it will make your head spin. And if Norway is so great, feel free to immigrate there, although they most likely would not accept you.

The default response of those too lazy to study why these countries have such better quality of life and maybe adapt the good ones and discharge what's not in our national goal of a more perfect union.

But yes, I was invited to to move to the Nederlands by the Anglo-Dutch global company I worked for.

Next! (That tired and worn out "drink cool-aid"?)[emoticon][emoticon]

I tired of always hearing how bad USA is and how great other countries are. Typical Democratic/ socialist mentality…

For the love of god, move to those “great countries” and do us all a favor. Thats more coal to roll for all us!

And how about that great state of CA !!! Ban the sale of gasoline vehicles starting 2035 and 2 weeks lator pleas to the population and ask them to nOT charge their EV’s to save electricity!:-)

LMAO 8.1 now there is some undisputed science!! Some real experts right there!

Come on 8.1. Get rid of your 8.1. In fact, have it crushed so no other RV'er can buy it and spew out loads of emissions. Buy a Tesla and a tent trailer or just a tent and go camping if that's what you believe will save the world. Better yet, buy a OTR Tesla Semi. You said they will be out in less than 4 months and they will be able to tow 621 miles/ charge according to Tusk.
I don't want to speak for 8.1 however he seems excited about coming new technology where yourself, grit and a few others inherently dislike anything that might be something other than burning petroleum into the atmosphere to get down the road.

Whatever, but perhaps some may have a small problem with one camp forcing others into said camp via gubmint mandates, despite the documented fact that the subject being discussed and mandated has its own downsides and issues. I'd love to see someone like Yosemite Sam spend an hour in a local tavern in SE Ohio, in the middle of Marcellus country, and spew his rhetoric. I suspect he would have his dentures punched out of his mouth quickly lol.
