Regular push-on terminals overheat, anneal (get soft and loose) and fail if they pass even a modest amount of current.

These terminals last 20+ as long if used to pass a substantial amount of power. Some companies charge insanely high prices for these terminals. Note that they have two sets of prongs, one is to clamp the copper conductor the other, on the end, is to crimp to wire insulation. These are far more durable than any push on terminal.

When I bought my stock of Packard 56 terminal supplies about 10 years ago, Waytek had the best prices and were easy to deal with.
