Hi folks,

I find this an amazing deal at 90 bucks. I purchased one and it is double the weight of the inverter I was using before.

Is Victron one of those manufacturers hung up on authorized resellers when it comes to warranty or support?

Lifestyle Solutions seems to sell furniture and medical support implements.

Double the weight doesn't necessarily mean better, just that they're using an old design relying on low frequency magnetics.

Looks like an excellent buy.

Same weight as GoPower 300w. Very similar exterior case too. But half the price makes Victron an excellent buy.

Victron is a high end manufacturer from Germany that got its name in the yachting industry and is now moving into the RV market. I am not specifically familiar with this particular inverter, but I am familiar with many of their other products and I can highly recommend Victron as a company. It would appear this is an excellent buy.

i disagree

double the weight means a good transformer
a much better choice for reliability and surge duty
than than light weight coils and a 'chopper' circuit

Victron has some very interesting products,, They have been around for several years and I do not recall reading any complaints about them.. Most of what I read is posts like the original here.. Telling us about products.

to the OP.. Bookmarked for later purchase.

30amps is a lot to expect from a cigarette lighter socket
