And boy oh boy was it quiet. A bit breezy much of the time but when it wasn't blowing you could have heard a cricket fart. And yes, it was spectacular...

Great photography, as usual. That snow covered two track looks like the road that cuts up through the middle of Craters of The Moon.

What a wonderful and splendiferous adventure you, Lynn and the kids enjoyed. Thank you for taking the time to put this Trip Report together. Beautiful photos and narrative but I am moved to the Sound of Silence;

Wow Dave, fantastic pictures, great colors, sharpness and composition! Great trip report, the snow sure added to the adventure and pictures! Looked like Idaheaven to me!
